American Idol aired last night and is on as I type!!!

The Top 11 has just taken the stage and there are live blogs going on!!!!

I have heard about some controversies with one American Idol contestant because of his sexuality! He has said that he has not broadcasted or admitted it openly on the show because of the treatment that other homosexual conestants have recieved in the past. Adam Lambert is this contestant. I think he can say whatever he wants and he should not be afraid to be who he is!

It was suggested that I talk about Dancing with the Stars more often!

The contestants seem to be very competitive this year, Shawn Johnson, who was an Olympic Gymnast in Bejing is one and I have heard she is very talented. She was on The Ellen Show the other day and her and her partner performed. The dancing seems to come naturally to her since she is a gymnast, she just glides along like she was meant to be a dancer too.

Another looker that is competing is Country Music Star, Chuck Wicks. He seems to be picking up all the moves quite quickly! He is looked at as a fierce competitor as well!

We all know him as an actor on the show "jackass" who competes with his friends completing ridiculous tasks. It's Steve-o!!!!! Unfortunately he has been injured during training for Dancing with the Stars. It is said to be a back injury.

What's New?

Well in the news today it was said that 2 contestants from American Idol were eliminated, Jasmine and Jorge! Bummer! I am sure that they will get some sort of deal by being broadcasted and from getting so much press on American Idol!

Information about all the contestants has been around. It is neat to view their likes dislikes and just some common information about them. They sort oif become "stars" when they are on American Idol. It is like we are following one of our movie stars that we catch ourselves watching reality tv!

Also coming into its 12th season is America's Next Top Model that is aired weekly. This show has become suprisingly popular throughout the years! This past week, the models got their makeovers, so of course they look completely different and even more beautiful!

Personally, I have been disappointed because I have not caught myself watching any reality tv in a while because I have been so busy. I am sure I'll catch up!

Wednesday night is a popular night for these shows to be on. I know that I will be watching The Real World at 10/9C on MTV. Many others air tonight as well.

American Idol's Top 13 has finally been decided. This show airs every Tuesday and Wednesday and I know that fans have been watching closely. The contestants have done a great job so far and their are rumors that there may be a "big twist" this season. What could it be?! Reality?

Is reality tv really reality? Many people believe that it is when they catch themselves indulging in these awful television shows.

Many people are guilty of endulging in reality television. It is somewhat addictive, some people might feel; once you start, you can stop. These television shows carry you away with them. People think it is fascinating that they can watch their favorite people from Hollywood on tv experiencing "real life" events. It makes us feel that they are just like us, which they are but when their lives are on national television it becomes very interested.

There are so many of these tv shows that exist today and they are on every channel and network. Survivor, The Amazing Race, Rock of Love with Bret Michaels, American Idol, The Biggest Loser, High School Reunion and my personal favorites Jon and Kate plus 8 and The Real World to name a few.

We are just so captivated by these people on television that have lives full of drama and we can't help becoming involved in it too. The Gossip magazines and websites that exist with all the latest news about these so called "stars" sell off the corner stand every day. This is just completely amazing and it is so funny how these things on tv are in a way "addictive" for some!

I know I am guilty of watching all of these awful television shows, but somehow I enjoy them and I get so involved in these famous people's lives!
